Optional observations improve the starting bait suggestions. Entered temperature is used for this plan only; it is not treated as a sensor reading or a seven-day water forecast.

ZIP searches use an approximate area center. For a particular lake or launch, you can enter its coordinates instead.

How to read this experimental index

The IntlBass Bass Conditions Index is an original, rules-based planning aid. It compares selected forecast factors on a 0–100 scale and displays that index with a percent sign. An index of 70% means 70 of 100 index points; it does not mean a 70% chance of catching a fish. The rules have not been calibrated or validated against bass catches.

Observed water temperature, water level, flow, dissolved oxygen, habitat, forage, angling pressure, and catch data may be unavailable. Unknown factors remain unknown. Air temperature is never presented as water temperature. Optional observations only refine this trip’s starting bait guide; they do not create measured conditions for the next seven days.

Hazard flags and missing essential weather or alert data may withhold an index or suggested window. This is a planning tool, not a boating-safety rating or continuous warning service. No alert returned does not establish safe conditions.
